Especially now, our students are in need of caring adult role models who can encourage them toward personal and academic success. If you are interested in youth mentoring at a local public school this is the opportunity for you. Our mentors meet with their student ( mentee) for 30 minutes, two to four times a month. A mentor is a guide, encourager, companion and friend. If you would like to attend the upcoming training session on April 15th please email: lisa@legacyyouthmentoring.org to register for training. We will ask that those in attendance wear a face mask as you enter the training session. We will have room to spread out for seating once inside. We will meet in the Cafe area of Hope Crossings.
In the meantime, you can begin your application online at: https://legacyyouthmentoring.org/volunteer
