Mentors are encouraging guides, friends, and role models to the students we serve through Legacy Youth Mentoring. Thank you for your interest in joining the mentoring team through participation in the online, new mentor training session. * You don’t have to have a zoom account to attend a meeting via Zoom. We will send you a link to access the meeting after registration.
Especially now, in a unique season of life, our kids need encouraging mentors. Mentors will meet with their mentee in the school for 30 minutes, two to four times a month! The best practice is weekly visits, but we are also ok with every other week if you commit to those regularly scheduled times. We will have some guidelines in place this year to provide for the safety of students and mentors as they meet together.
After mentor training, we can finalize your background check information and application process. We can also answer questions you may have about school selections, the age student you would like to mentor, and school orientation.
